Electronic waste is illegal to discard in your landfill bin per Public Law 94-580, or the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. UCSB offers special e-waste services because it cannot be disposed of in the trash or any other conventional waste stream. E-waste can be picked-up or deposited in designated locations throughout the UCSB Campus. ORANGE is the designated color at UCSB for e-waste.
